I just wanted to ask regarding the proof of funds needed if I am visiting Canada from the UAE. My salary is at least 5000 AED, minus my cost of living. But since I am only earning that much is there a specific amount needed, to show in the bank statement?

Are you single? Money in the bank depends on length of visit but you want to have enough to show you can afford to visit with airfare but still have money left over. $10k for a two week visit for one person is a good amount.
