Dear All,
I am planning to visit Canada as a tourist in 2014 to attend a family wedding.
As the subject stated, I was deported from the US back in 2008 for overstaying my tourist visa by 1 month, and am banned from entering the US for 10 years.
Since my deportation I have traveled to other countries with no problem, even by stating that I was deported from the US in my visa application.
From what I read around the web, Canada and US both share immigration information, and so I am wondering if this will have any significant effect on my visa application. I had no criminal record whatsoever during my stay in the US.
Could anyone let me know about this issue?
Much appreciated.
Thank you
