Hi everybody,

Need serious help please

I applied for the visit visa and have got the refusal.
They have considered below points for refusing my visa.

1. Purpose of visit.
2. Immigration status in country of residence.

Point No. 1:
I have attached the travel document (tickets copy for my family and myself), Hotel stay, my detail itinerary including USA visit (already we got visas of USA).

Point No. 2:
I have attached a copies of our resident permits, i am Syrian and living in Saudi Arabia for past 7 years.

can somebody guide me on the above as these does not seem to be major rejection points ::).

Best Regards,

Best Regards,
I've noticed lately, expats from Saudi Arabia and UAE have been getting refusals based on point 2. Being Syrian probably aggravates your situation. The fact that Saudi Resident Permits are renewed annually along with the strong Saudization drive makes expats such as yourself high risk applicants - ones that have a great chance of not returning from Canada.

Did you include an employment letter which includes your approved leave dates? How long of a stay did you request in your application?

Thank you for your response

Your correct! unfortunately that situation of Syrian war have aggravates my situation.
Actually I were in USA few months ago where i were able to remain, but i returned back to my job in Saudi Arabia. I though that enough for making him satisfied that i will leave Canada upon finishing my visit!

The employment letter was stated that i want to spend my vacation without referring to leave date, but i mentioned that in sub-form required for applicants from Saudi Arabia.
I have requested 20 days of stay in the application.

You could reapply and put out a detailed introduction letter mentioning those points; the fact that you visited the US and did not overstay. The fact that you have a stable job in KSA and have been here for 7 days. Add the fact that all Muqeen status cards have an annual renewal but the 7 year stay is proof that you are stable there.

I read in one of your older posts that you were considering applying through FSW. Did you actually go through with an application? If so, that could perhaps point out to the VO that you have intent to visit and remain in Canada?
