I had applied for my visit visa to attend my elective and university of toronto starting from 5th june 2017. My applying date was 3rd may and I still haven't heard anything from the visa office! Any idea what should i expect from the visa office? any chances of me receiving it in another couple of days? I submitted a paper based application at VAC.

TRVs can take up to 4 months to be issued.

Be patient.

I had answered your questions in two previous threads. I had also given you the links for the Document Checklist + Visa office instructions.

If you cannot be bothered to go through the links/go through this forum before posting questions on the basics of a TRV application then it's best that you hire an immigration consultant/agent

hi everyone,

just a quick question..if I re-applied for a TRV 2 days after being refused, will the timeline still follow the same processing time as posted on the cic website? or will it take longer? If it takes longer how long does it usually take for them to get a final decision?

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!

First, please do not apply in quick succession. Do address the refusal reasons before you reapply.... or reapply after your circumstances have changed.

As for the processing times, these are only estimates. Actual processing can be faster/quicker. The times posted on the IRCC website change every week depending on the number of applications processed in the previous week

Bryanna,

The reason for reapplication is basically to answer all the points highlighted for the refusal. I don't know how this thing works but I just want to know whether it will take the same processing time(estimated or not) as posted in cic website. I believe cic is somehow just in processing applications and personally I think it is not about how quick you did your re-application but how strong your supporting documents are.

Actual processing time varies from application to application. It's a wait-and-guess game

what about the 27 processing days on the cic website? Because I have a timeline to follow my joining date is on 5th of june
Times posted are estimates, not a commitment.

Unfortunately CIC cannot modify their process based on personal needs.

Be patient.
