Visit Visa for Spouse with pending PR application ?

Hi guys. I'm a Canadian Permanent Resident currently working in the US but I'm moving to Canada in February/March next year. I'm getting married in February next year and know that it can take 6 - 12 months for your spouse to get PR status. My question is, is there some way my spouse can enter Canada before her PR application is processed ?

Your spouse needs to obtain a visitor visa or ETA depending on their country of origin. Generally speaking, it's difficult to get a TRV approved when a PR application is in progress and you have a Canadian spouse. But some are approved.
