visit spouse and relatives after applying

Hi,

I read people said a PR can not go outside the country while the sponsorship application is in process.

I am a Permanent residence and going to apply for my wife's sponsorship soon. I am also planning a 2 week visit to my spouse's country and also my home country to visit grandparents.

Is this going to be an issue? if so why?

A 2 week holiday won't matter they just won't allow you to leave for most of the process.
