I have recently acquired my w1 visitor visa and letter of introduction letter for the H1b Open Work Permit. The expiration date on the letter is in 2026. It says that I will receive the work permit document at the border. Can I visit canada for a soft landing to get the work permit document and do some tourism? Or can I only visit for purposes of work?
