Hello there.
I left Canada 8 months ago due to a departure order(IM 5238) i received because i was not approved as a refugee.
My question is can i visit Canada now without having any problems at the canadian boarder and for how long may I stay without officer being suspicious that i do not want to leave the country.
Please help me, i really want to visit my friends and family back there.
Thank you

Are you a visa-exempt national?

Yes I am. I do not need to apply for a visa in my country. Sorry that I did not mentioned it above.

You can certainly try visiting. Since you are visa exempt, chances are that you should be allowed into Canada - however there's never a guarantee. I would keep the visit to a few weeks and bring proof that demonstrates you have strong ties to your home country (job, property owned, etc.).
