Hi,
I have sent my initial application for CSQ under
Quebec Skilled Worker category for me and my
wife. I am the principal applicant in application. I have a question here.

Requesting all seniors and experts to give their suggestions and opinions about it. Once my PR is issued, how can I call my parents to live with me in Canada? Because once in Canada, I want my parents to come to canada and live with me.

Can I apply for PR for my parents? What are the available options for this? and what may be the possible problems in this?

Though I am not thinking of following options, but pls share what is the difference between visitor visas and super visas for parents.

Looking towards your valuable support.

Thanks in advance. :)

No - you cannot apply for PR for your parents. CIC is not accepting these applications at this time.

Your options are to either apply for a visit visa or a super visa. A super visa will allow your parents to visit for a longer period of time. Note that neither of these visas will allow you parents to live in Canada permanently - they will just be allowed to visit. In both cases your parents will have to demonstrate that they have strong ties to their home country. To qualify for the super visa, you will have to demonstrate that you make enough income to support them.

Thanks scylla for your reply.
I dont understand why they stopped giving PR to parents?

They need hard working ppl who can give back to the economy, with parents - most likely they will be taking advantage of their social system which has negative impacts.
