Visa with BOWP

I have applied under CEC and now got my BOWP. I need to travel to my country in two months for a short trip. Will I get a Visa with BOWP? Also, Can I bring my wife as a Visitor during the period my CEC application is under process.

The BWOP is just like any other visa, so applying for a TRV (This is what you need to come back to Canada from a non-exempt country) based on BWOP wont be an issue.

regarding your second question, im not sure
I am assuming that you are applying for PR for you wife as well. I know that when you apply for a Visitor Visa, there is a place in the pre-questionnaire that asks if you have an open - PR application. So it might be a possibility that you could have issues applying for a visitor visa.

You can apply for a dependent visa for your spouse on basis of BOWP.
