Visa - When do you know applicaiton is completed

Hi

i have received a welcome letter from CIC. I just need a couple of questions answered before i go and sort the rest out.

do i show this letter to the border guard upon entry to canada? is this when i get my visa?

where do i get a SIN from?

any help would be fantastic! - as times ticking away and i need to get it all sorted!

Hi Adam: Congratulations, it must be a wonderful feeling to hold that letter. You will apply for the SIN at Service Canada when you get here. Try a google for the location in the place you are landing. Your work permit will be stamped when you land. Can you please tell us the location and timeline of your application?
