Visa Transfer Process To a New Passport

Hi,

I am looking for any insights you may have to offer solution to this situation:

I do have a valid Canadian visa and a valid passport. I will be travelling back home country in Asia soon and am facing a challenge now. My home country started and mandated a new travel passport to exit the country and any visa must be on the new passport. So, my current passport is not considered a travel document anymore to leave the country. I am aware that entry to Canada is not an issue here because immigration department recognizes my passport and visa.

Only way here is to get a new visa stamp after I get that new passport.

Does anyone have any advice as to how to file an application for this and processing time? I will have only a month time: first 10 business days are used for new passport and the rest is to find a solution to seek an expedited visa stamp.

Any thoughts and recommendations are appreciated.

Try to contact the CDN Embassy or the VFS office in your home country to get the information.
