Visa stamping process time at abu dhabi embassy for permanent residency

Hello guys and gals,

I sent my passport to the Canadian embassy at abu dhabi last august 5 2013 and they receive it on august 7 2013

my question is, how long is their process time to stamp the visa?
because the embassy mail says that their process time is 10 days for my category and im seeing comments on this forum from embassies aside form abu dhabi.

my second question is, i wrote my address and have a copy of the aramex airwaybill but i forgot to include my phone number, does that affect it on getting back my passport?

Please feel free to share your experience so i could have a baseline on the process time at the embassy in abudhabi.

Not having your number always makes things difficult for courier companies, even if it is not your passports.

All you can do now is hope for the best and make sure someone is always at the address you gave and they are able to contact you should the courier demand your physical presence.

Hello GIl, as a matter of fact, sorry, i dont have the answer in your question, but maybe you can help me otherwise. pls advise me how to do airway bill to aramex? i am in kuwait, what aramex address and payment mode for the airway bill going back to me. how about bank draft. pls kindly advise me. many thanks.

abu dhabi visa office take too much time for processing

I got PPR on Feb27. Submitted Passport to ADVO on same day. No news since.

Issue is that I am on UAE grace period till 15th of March, because i got my visa cancelled on 15th Feb. After that, I will have to start paying fines for overstaying. My new company has processed my new UAE visa but I need the passport back from ADVO for stamping!

What is the timeline for ADVO visa stamping these days?

Got ppr today from advo. However they are requesting my pp to have at least 12 months validity. Is that the case with everyone else? I used to hear about 6 months. Now my pp has only 10 months validity...should I submit? My home country won't renew if it has over 6 months validity as well as they can't renew within the 30 days. Please reply asap

Happy for you.. Ours is a similar case as my husband (Dependent applicant) has less than 20 days for processing his new visa. Did you inform Abu Dhabi VO about your job change. We have not informed them about my husband's job change and we are not sure if we should as it might further delay the process.

hi i am in the same boat, cancelled visa 2 days before cancelled my residency visa but i send my passport on November 29th and my new visa is also in process, did you receive any communication from ADVO?? did you inform ADVO on job change?
