Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is doing good. I got a weird problem some of you might have faced. I have applied for PR from India and was in processing when I traveled to Sydney . I had informed New Delhi visa office about my location change and provided documents.

A week back, I got my PPR email request from NewDelhi asking me to submit the passport in NewDelhi in 30 days. I am right now in Sydney (Communicated to them well in advance before PPR email).

Now sent an email to them and raise a case specific inquiry asking them to permit me to get the stamping from Sydney Visa office. As you know, they don't even mind to respond. It's been a week and my deadline given by them is only 30 days.

I tried calling CIC support 100 times, they don't even pick the call and the voice tells all the time "All agents are busy, can't connect"

As far as I know, I can't ship my passport to overseas (As that's the only travel document and If I had to travel immediately to somewhere, I can't do it without passport). I am now in a confused status.Really annoyed by the CIC support system, they keep us in anxiety and discomfort

In an unfortunate circumstance, if NewDelhi visa office don't reply to me or give me permission to get the stamping done from Sydney, Can I ask VFS to ship my passport to Delhi office from Sydney and get it back?

I don't even know if they will return my passport to Sydney or India!

One funny fact is that, though I received PPR email from them, my PR status online shows the BG check and eligibility check is still going on! :p

VFS will not accept your passport or courier it because it is illegal to courier Indian passports out of a country.

It could show the same status even after you get your CoPR.

Contact the Sydney visa office and confirm if you can submit your passport to them. It is doable
