Is it possible to go to a different Doctor for medicals? This medical is for visa spouse canada

My previous doctor is taking longer than normal for the results to reach CIC. He keep's on saying he has sent them, but its been over 10 days and CIC says they have not received anything.

Other friends, who went to differnt hospital's after me are getting medical passed on CIC.

So is it possible for me to go to a different doctor for my medical? Or do I have to call CIC and get a new
