Greetings i recently applied for a visit visa to canada thru abu dhabi and we got rejected reason being travel history and lack of finance to sustain our stay plus they mentioned we did not convience them that we will be back to UAE we are residents here.
Am seeking any ideas on how to go about our next trial as we intend to give it a try..

These are generic reasons that all applicants whose visa has been rejected receive. You have to order ATIP/GCMS notes to view the officers notes for rejection and then file your second application for a TRV addressing those specific concerns.

Let me guess... you are a temporary resident in UAE?

If so then the chances for getting a TRV are slim in a second try if your situation hasn't changed considerably.

All expats are temporary residents in UAE. Does that mean no one was ever granted a TRV by Abu Dhabi Consulate?
The problem here, in my opinion, is travel history and the purpose of visit.

Lately many UAE temp residents are having a tough time due to their temp status. Usually when "travel history" comes as a reason for refusal it is because the main argumentation is so weak that the officer has looked into any other evidence that might help the applicant but has not found any. You don't need to have any travel history at all to be given a TRV (but it surely helps if you have one to make your case much stronger).
