Visa rejection under SDS

Rejection reason :
Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

• Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of: your qualifications, previous studies, missing mark sheets, academic record, level of establishment, language abilities, financial ability, and/or your future prospects and plans.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

-Hsc : 76.31%. 2016
-B.com : 54% (November 2016 to July 2019)
-Backlog in b.com: total 10 backlogs across 6 semester (all cleared immediately in subsequent attempt so no year gap)
-ELTS : 6.5 overall (L: 7.5 /R: 6/W: 6/ S:7) (appeared in July 2019)
-Work experience : working as relationship manager (sales) joined in August 2019
-Course Applied : international business management (logistics system) 2 year PGDM
-Visa filled on 18 October and rejected on 31th October

Applied for gcms notes also on 5th November for clarity on the case. Agent is advising to reapply by showing some ties and finances in india and says it is a general rejection.

Please help what to do and what could have gone wrong because I have very short time to reapply

What is your advice?what you think based on the profile could have gone wrong. I think I can wait maximum 10-15 days for reapply visa so the gcms notes arrive maybe cannot wait more than that.

Your grades are on the low end, your IELTS score is on the low end, it's unclear if you studied logistics in your B.Com, and your work presently has nothing to do with international logistics. You don't specify what institution you want to study at in your profile.

Unless you provided a compelling reason why you wanted to specialize in logistics after doing a BCom and now working in sales, the visa officer would likely be concerned that you intend to stay on in Canada after your PGD. You'd also need clear and overwhelming proof of home ties.

I studied various subjects like international trade and foreign exchange, export marketing, business communication etc during the UG b.com which i have mentioned in sop. I mentioned about my job designation as to just get exposure to work environment.

What all ties i can show? Is gold holding of my parents can be shown too?

its painfully obvious why you got rejected.

your grades are low, your ielts barely made the mark and your degree has no relevant to your current job nor your proposed course of study in logistics.

there may be other reasons when you receive your gcms notes but you clearly need to resolve the problems i mentioned first.

B.com is a general course which is not Specialising in any particular part. We learn from manufacturing to marketing to export and various other subject of business. The job was to get some work environment and learn to interact with client of different cultures which i mentioned in sop. I completed my graduation in July and after that i gave ielts in july too.later I started working in August and its only 2 months I was working there when I filled the visa.

What do you think should i wait for gcms notes or not because it comes within 30 days and if I apply late there will be so much trouble.

1) do i have to show financial ties even in sds application?
2)my college reporting day is 6th January 2020 so should I wait for gcms notes and than apply which will come within 30 days from now or should I apply after making sop and cover letter strong

1)It’s not mandatory but showing it would be an asset.
2)Waiting for notes would be too late you will have to defer for it. It’s your call either you can defer or take a chance and apply witj a strong SOP.
3)Issue is your education is BCom, Exp is as a relationship manager and the course you’ve applied for is IBM Logistics, you have to connect the dots some way and convince them how this course would help your career.
