Visa Rejected: Needs a Recommendation Letter

Hi All,

I applied for the student visa on 13th July.
-Mechanical Engg Tech in Humber College.
-Starts Sept 6, 2011
-Loan 10 Lac against 10 Lac FD from PNB Bank
-C$6100 fees paid for one Semester
-Completed 10th in 2000
-Completed Certificate In Tool & Die Technology in 2002 (+2 Non -medical Equivalent)
-Completed Diploma in Mech Engg with specialization in Industrial Production in 2004
-Worked as a Tool & Die Maker for 4 years in India
-Completed Apprenticeship in Mech Engg in Kenya
-Scored >=7 overall 8 band in Academic IELTS
-Worked as a Structural and Metal Works Fabricator in Kenya for 7 Months
-Applied under Spp
-First time applied to Canada

Yesterday It got refused citing the reason:
-Proposed studies is not reasonable in light of one or more of previous studies, your qualification level of establishment, employment, etc.

So now what are my options?
Can anyone help me to prepare the matter for the Recommendation letter from Humber College? That the course offered is totally in accorance to the previous Diploma, Certificate studies. etc etc. Please.

canadian embassy requires u to have atleat +2.
they will not consider other equivqlrnt courses. according to me.

where do u applied in chd chd or new delhi
in how many days did they replied to u .....

Hi, sorry to know that news. With your mentioned profile I think U should have applied for Manufacturing Engineering discipline ,that would have been apt. Mechanical Engineering is a vast field which includes many disciplines . I think U should ask the college authority to switch ur admission to Manufacturing (if it is available to offer), get that offer letter and reapply again. All the Best.

Hi, sorry to know that news. With your mentioned profile I think U should have applied for Manufacturing Engineering discipline ,that would have been apt. Manufacturing Engg was not available. Infact this was the only course which is related to all of my previous studies.

Now, If I apply for second time, do I have to apply under General Category? What is the difference of documents under this general Category?

I got rejection for Jan 2014 for Dalhousie University Sad.. the reason of refusal:your proposed stdies r nt reasonable in light of 1 or more of: ur qualifications, previous stdies, employment , level of establishment, language abilities, or ur future propects and plans.
I got admission in dalhousie UNI for M.engg in internetworking. my profile is B.E (E&C) 58% (10 backlogs with repeatation) and an year gap during U.G means B.E completed in 5 years. IELTS- 6.5 (min 6 in each),also my final year project was on networking and I have also submitted a certificate from a private institute of N+, CCNA, MCSE where I have done training of these networking courses .. sufficient funds shown, but SOP was very poor... applied under university category.. now how to resolve this issue with this profile?? plz guide me, I am desparately looking for help on this as I want to re-apply soon for the same intake..

hey man did they ask you for medical and then rejected you?or they rejected befoore asking formedical?

In my new SOP for re-application, should I state 1 year gap clearly ? ( which was during UG after completion of my 1st year. means 2008 to 2009 no marksheets they would find) OR say it like additional thing I did due to much eagerness for knowing the subject which I love ?.. but in that time I did few networking courses for 10 months which is my propective subject to pursue in canada
