Visa rejected and reapplied in general category - plz urgent help required

Hi,

Today, I got my visa rejected stating other reasons that my proposed study is not reasonable with my previous qualification, study gaps, language ability, employment, level of establishment, future plan and prospect.

My profile

10 (71 %) + 12 (40 %) + Diploma in mech (58 % with 20 backlogs) + 1 years exp + B.E. mech (71 % with 6 backlogs) + 6 months exp

Got admissions letter of Mechanical Engineering Technician (2 years Diploma) in Humber college.

One semester + GIC fees paid.

Bank balance : 15 lacs savings

I want to re-apply my file in non-spp category for sep 2014 intake. Please, suggest me what are the changes should i have to made? And what are the chances for approval my student visa?

How long It takes time for processing under non-spp category?

Anything from your side is really appreciable. Please help me.

did u apply for PG diploma or just diploma?

Just diploma. I got 6 bands in IELTS. so none of the clgs provides addmission in pg for 6bands.

hi guys..me also got rejected under spp.
I applied for may intake business management post degree diploma at nlc college bc. I lodged my file at vfs on 28march and firstly high cmmisn didn't gave any decision ..
They asked me for defered LOA at 7may and i have provided them at 8may..after a period of 89days on 24june they give me rejection.
The reason was others..your proposed studies is not reasonable and bla bla.
My profile is
10th-82% 2007
12th-75% 2009
B.E.(electronics nd communications)-62.5% 2013(7backlogs bt cleared at time)
Ielts overall 7 with minimum 6
I know i have not choosen relevant course but i had mentioned clearly on my sop the reason of taking that course..alot of engineers opt for mba or business courses every year and they get visa.
The documents i provided for first time were all according to spp checklist except i have placed sop and parents itr's in addition.

Now i have again applied in general category at delhi vfs on 14th july nd its being under process.
This time all things are same except i have added a strong visa support letter ,covering letter,refusal letter,sponsership affidavit and trv form according to general checklist..wat do u guys think ..do i have a chance this time?? Or its a waste..

Hi Guys

There are few SPP colleges which provide admissions in Post Graduate programs with 6.0 bands IELTS scores. These colleges are:

Selkirk College
Northern Lights College
Mohawk College

There are very good chances if after Bachelors you apply for Post Graduate programs and that too for two years. Hope this will help.

but ryan i had applied at nlc nd band requirement for pg diploma was 6.5 ovrall nd 6in each

prashant_9401 you have to take up IELTS again and score atleas 6.5 with no band less than 6, and apply for a PGD course not just a Diploma course, write a strong SOP explaining about your previous educational performance and why you want to study in Canada. Backlogs to an extent dont matter but you have to explain why and your over all profile also matters. so try making your over all profile better including higher IELTS score etc

Thanks Ryan 1981 for providing such a useful information. We will keep this information for future. But i would like to ask you what is our chances in general category ?we add SOP which we didn't add in spp. . .does it make any difference?how long it takes time for evaluation in non spp?

Thanks for the reply. I dont have much time to left for applying sep 2014 intake. Can you please, tell me what changes should i have to make ? I will give new IELTS latter. I want to apply for sep 2014 intake.

prashant_9401 bro for September intake you have to apply right now its already getting late. under general and SPP the process is same its just that youll have to add in extra documents in general and processing might take a bit longer than SPP. Write a strong SOP . see the reasons for your refusal of visa and make sure you correct those given reasons and apply under general. chances of visa under SPP and General are the same

I put up file on 25 June in spp .but my visa application still is being processed...I m afraid n getting a lot stress...how many further days I have to wait Huh?

Is der anything wrong with my visa file???

Can you help me urgently? There is one alternate way. I had applied before some days in 1 year PG diploma course in mechanical in Fanshawe college, London. I have a offer letter of this PG course. Right now I am getting extinction till 30th July for fees payment. But If i pay today then fee receipt will come in next 3 days.

Can I add this confirmation email with extinction date plus offer letter instead off duplicate fee receipt? As I havent any more time to left. Please reply
