Hi, I applied for a temporary visa. Got denied twice already. First application got denied last May 30 and second June 15 due to the following reasons, first application was only Purpose of travel. Second application was Purpose of travel, employment situation, assets and financial status, employment prospects in my country, travel history.

My main purpose of travel is only to accompany my mom to travel to canada as she is already a senior citizen. She can barely read or write. I stated this as my purpose of travel in my previous applications. I only ask for 7 days. I have a brother who lives in Canada.

I am from the Philippines, a business owner. I have a healthy funds in my bank account that submitted to them.

I know my travel history is weak as I only have one stamp in my passport from last year travel.

I need to know how I will convince them that I don't have plans of overstaying as I have business to run. I just want to accompany my mom traveling.

I plan to reapply and will state that it will be my third time applying.

Can you give me ideas what I should do? Will appreciate your help. I am desperate! Thanks!

You can re apply by attaching a letter of explanation clearing all the points, but if you have been refused 2 times, you can request gcms notes and get the details

Can I state in my letter that they can ban me forever if I don't come back to my home country? I just want them to know that I have no plans on overstaying.

Still not strong/genuine enough... They might think if you go under this statement, you might end up be living in Canada without status

Accompanying my mom to canada is my main reason why I need to get a visit visa. Is that reason still weak?

Depends on how well you explain your purpose of visit, thereby stating valid facts and buttress more on the reasons of refusal. Making them believe your intention is genuine

No you can not, everyone can write that. But they have to follow the law.

Your mom can travel on her own and would not need you. She could get help finding her gate and being told what to do. Many people book wheelchair service for their parents who are illiterate and then they are taken directly to the correct gate.

You are not helping his case... would you entrust your mother's security/safety to a total stranger fully aware she's partialy incapacitated?

Technically Jets13 is right. The purpose of travel reason can include that but cannot be based solely off of that reason. The officer will have those thoughts regardless of the trust people have for others helping the elderly. Its just a statement to have him look for a more solid reason.

Actually yes, we did with my mother in law. Along with many others who do the same thing for their parents flying out of India.

One of the reasons of refusal was purpose of travel, and the opening poster asked if their purpose was strong, I just replied that perhaps it is not if the sole reason is to just ensure the mother gets to Canada safely.... as there are other options. Which are perfectly safe I might add.

Immigration would rather not take a chance on that, many people, not saying you, say that, and end up overstaying
