I am a Nigerian student residing in Russia. i finished Bsc just this february and my Visa here ends by August 2017 . I applied for study visa in moscow and showed that i'm living legally in Russia. my father is my sponsor. i included his payslips and account info. he has about 45000 CAD but the funds show inconsistencies which he wrote a letter to make mention of. i also added my personal savings account balance of about 6000 CAD. my tuition fees is 19600CAD in carleton university Ottawa for fall 2017. After 5 days of paper application, i received a message in my online account that my application. has been refused and the officer stated the following reasons:
Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After a careful review of your study permit application and
supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the
Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations. I am refusing your application.
Pursuant to Section 219 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulation, I am not satisfied that
you:
have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees
for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue
You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this
decision, I considered several factors, including:
immigration status in country of residence
family ties in Canada and in country of residence
length of proposed stay in Canada
purpose of visit
employment prospects in country of residence
current employment situation
personal assets and financial status.
i want to reapply .but i want to make sure i can i am able to fulfill all needed. what do i need to put into consideration to avoid being refused the second time? thank you.
