Visa refusal rate for PTE exam ?

Hello,

My twin cousins have got their admission for business program and hospitality tourism management at Niagara college on the lake. But they don’t have IELTS, they did their PTE exam ( one got 49 and the other one got 52 ). Is there a chance for visa approval ? ( they are based in India) ?? Any tips for the SOP ??

Right off the bat, they are ineligible to apply in SDS which has a higher rate of approval, faster processing etc. Secondly, the point of an English proficiency test is to establish your hold over the language. The PTE scores when converted to IELTS are less. 49 is IELTS 5.5 and 52 is barely IELTS 6.0.

Why not appear for IELTS?

They did IELTS multiple time with no success. IELTS is all about money in India nowadays
