i m even not getting admission due to gap .. if ur college accepted u after a gap year please share with me as well i will also try to get admission in that ciollege.
I don't thinknow it is difficult to get admission with gaps as long that gap is filled up with the right work experience. I recommend you that you try Capilano University in Vancouver.
There shouldn't be any problem if you have GAps after your study but you have to show what activities were you doing over that time ..this could be work experience, entrance exam, voluntary works etc ..
But if you have work experience related with your study then It would be great.
And there are so many college which accept such application..
Like centennial, George Brown, st. Clair, flashaw, Georgian ..
Actually in my case.. I recently graduated from university in MBBS . August 2014. ( I already got accepted in several colleges ...question is about visa )
2005 12th 72% CBSE medical
2005-2006 preparing for entrance exam .
2006-2008 did first 2 years in MBBS At medical university but my performance wasn't good . so decided to start over in 2008 from year 1 .
2008-2014 MBBS 70% Now I dont know if my period from 2005-2008 will be considered as GAP during the visa process . even though I do have certificate and proof from my university supporting that I was a full time student from 2006-2008 ( 2 years ) at university and decided to do it over from the beginning in 2008.
Anyone wanna give their opinion regarding my situation??
