Visa prospects for a College diploma (Hospitality) in Manitoba?

Hello all,

I am from Pakistan, currently doing A-levels. I wish to apply for a 2 year Hospitality and Tourism Diploma at Red River College, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

I have heard that the visa chances are relatively low on a College enrollment; if yes, what are the odds?

Also, I wanted to know if my uncle, here in Pakistan can sponsor me? Would it further lessen the chances of obtaining a study permit?
