My open work permit application was rejected, and my boyfriend recently applied for permanent residency, listing me as his common-law partner. What steps can I take to avoid having to leave the country in two weeks?

Thank you!!

If you have lost your status, then you need to apply to restore your status.

Without knowing a lot more details about how your boyfriend has applied for PR / through which program, the stage of processing of his application, if you are common law, if he's currently working in Canada and what his NOC is, etc. - it's not possible to say if you can benefit from his situation at all. Most obvious option in that case would be to apply to restore your status as visitor.
