visa on old passport, new passport since. what do I do??

Hello all,
I received my 2 year working visa for Canada last July. since that time I have gotten a new passport as my old one was damaged and had to be forfeited. The problem is my visa is connected to my old passport. My new passport has a different passport number and all I have left of my old one is a copy. I am planning to travel to Canada soon and i was wondering will I be able to travel? and If not what can I do?

Note: I have been in contact with embassy's and others and no one can seem to give me a straight answer. very frustrating.

Just bring the old passport with visa and your new passport as long as your visa still valid together with your working permit..

Hi, thanks for the reply. I had to forfeit my old passport in order to get a new one. all i have left of my old one is a copy of it which is why i think i may incur problems
