Visa office Request

Hello everyone ..I have a quick question for the senior members please.

Am I allowed to specify a particular visa office for my application? Is it true that applications in Canada are automatically sent to CPP-0? I have spoken to Immigration who said that yes I could try to make the request, however I just wanted some feedback from the forum please. I am still in the AOR stage and my file hasn't been transferred to a visa office as yet.My situation is that I have since returned to my home country but will be returning to Canada in a few months and it would just make life easier if everything is handled in Canada.

Also just to verify, is this is the email I should use for the correspondence; CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca?

All CEC cases are processed in CPP-O automatically and that is the office you should be corresponding with.
