What is written in detail in your status? Could u please share? My status also shows same "Visa office eligibility review complete" from 17 Aug 2010. The inside message is:
We received your application for permanent residence on November 3, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January 11, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the London England office on January 20, 2010. The London England office may contact you.

after this your status will be in process and after in process it convert into medicals.

As far as I know being in this forum for 9 months ' visa ofice eligibility review complete' in London CHC means Rejection.
If it is New Delhi CHC it means shortly u will get into IN PROCESS.
HOPING A MIRACLE TAKES PLACE AND U R IN Safe zone.

Shibuya is right. Usually that ecas (Visa Office Eligibility Review Complete) doesn't occur in normal case. After "Received By Visa Office" the ecas only changes to "In Process" (in most cases).

This is a cause of concern for this gentleman, let's all be sure of that. And Shibuya is again right... All CHC-London cases (that we know of) have got Rejection after this ecas, Shibuya is once more right... in 2 months, unfortunately.

Before u get the 2nd AOR usually the file is assessed against the MI, C-50. Meaning, it's "provisionally accepted" for being passed the NOC check & the Points. As it is revalidated, the ecas is updated with "In Process".
