Visa information when the college course is deferred

I have a student visa for 2 years (Till December 2021). I was supposed to join the Conestoga college in May 2020, due to COVID-19, my course has got deferred to January 2021. Do I have to apply the visa again from scratch or do I have to update the details and they extend my visa. Please comment if you have any updates.

Update your details with proof from your college that your admission has been deferred. You will eventually need an extension.

Don’t worry you need to do extension after reaching there after completing 6 months and you will get the extension

which course you opted in conestoga?
