I have a 10 year canadian visa which is valid for another 8 years. The passport it is in is still valid. I got re-married last year and I now have a new passport in my married name. Can I travel on my new passport in my married name and show my visa in my previous passport or do I have to book my airticket using my old passport?

Do you mean you now have dual nationality - holding two passports? If so, you can book the air ticket using the other name in the passport with the Canadian visa .

Take both passports and related documents (marriage documents). Shouldn't be an issue to show them the old passport with the valid visa (make sure that the visa hasn't been damaged).
