Hi

I am Indian, currently in Canada on work permit and have applied for PR. I received my AOR number.
My wife is pregnant and we want my sister to come to Canada and assist during pregnancy.

My sister is working is working in a small firm in India as an accountant she is receiving Salary as cash and don't have any proof to show she is working. She spoke with her employer and they agreed to give a letter saying she is working with them and need to join office on specified date.
In this case should I show my sister as Homemaker or working and attach her employer letter. In which case her chance of getting visa approved is high. I can get a letter from Doctor stating my wife pregnancy.

Also my sisters kid (4 year daughter and 7 year son) are in school and we can get letter from their school stating they need to join school on specified date.

Note my sister and her kids will be travelling alone. My sisters husband will not travel with them to Canada.
Can anyone suggest what are the chances to their visa getting approved.

First about the employer/ home maker -
If you are showing that your sister is working , then you may need to attach the salary slips, leave letter and Employment reference letter. It will also ask for the Form 16/return if applicable.

There is no harm in showing as Homemaker. But , do not forget to show the ties with home country such as Marriage certificate, property, FD/RD etc. In this case, onus is on you to provide the invitation letter (with affidavit preferably ) stating that you are sponsoring her trip.

Second , about her son -
Get the letter from school and attach it. It is always good show the ties with home country and it increases the chances of visa approval.

Try for Single entry visa for 6 months which is more likely to be approved.

If possible, you can ask for the doctor's certificate stating the due date and attach with the other documents.

Hope this helps.
