Visa for Fall 2018 intake

Hello guys, I've applied for study permit at Bangalore VFS on August 2nd for fall 2018 intake.
It's been 3 weeks and I haven't received any updates yet except for the student acknowledgement letter which states "We have received your application and is under process." But till date nothing is been changed in the portal too. No medical update nothing.
My classes starts from 4th September, so am worried.
Is there anyone who've applied for student visa around August 2nd?
It would be a great help for me if you guys reply.
And also please provide me Concordia University Fall 2018 intake WhatsApp group link (if any)

Which category? General or SDS?
And which University have you got?

I got admission from trinity western university... I dnt no abt sds n general?

There are 2 ways you can apply for visa, one is Student Direct Stream and the other is General category.
SDS is faster than General, but GIC is compulsory in SDS.
It hardly takes a month for visa approval.

I've applied under Non-SDS and haven't received any updates till date.

I paid gic n tuition fee as well... Some cases after medicals with in a day getting approvals some cases getting delayed... Depends on our luck

I haven't seen people getting visa within a day after medical update

Generally at what time (IST) does these updates are seen?
And do we get any updates on Saturday and Sunday?

Today I checked my gckey.. ..mails get to my consultant e mail ...so I dnt no the timing
