Visa Extension for my mother-in-law

Good day!

My mother-in-law has 5 year multiple visitor visa. However, the visa officer gave her 6 month stay when she entered the country. Her stay will be expired in coming Jan. And we would like to extend her stay without leaving Canada.

What shall we do? Shall we apply visa application online? Or is there any other option?

In a Visitor Visa you can only stay whatever time stamp mentioned in the passport, you can extend the visa 30 days prior. Check out the below link.
