Visa Expiry Date

Hi I need a little help, I want to apply for a working visa but do not expect to travel to Canada until 3 years.
The reason I am applying now is that I will turn 30 soon and am worried that I will not get a visa if I am over 30.
Does anyone know how long the visa will be active for before I have to use it i.e. It expires???

If you are asking about an IEC / Working Holiday Visa, then it has a limited validity. You definitely won't be able to apply now but not travel to Canada for three years. You'll have to come to Canada and start working within a year or less of the work permit being issued.

Correct, once you receive your letter of approval of the visa you have a time frame to enter Canada to activate your work permit.
