Visa Expired and got ITA

Hi all,
I was on work permit . I applied for work permit extension few days before my permit expired. and a couple of days after my visa expired i got ITA in CEC class.
I am about to file my application.
will my illegal status jeopardize my express entry application? I have 90 days to try to restore my status right?

Your status is not illegal. You can legally stay in Canada as you have submitted your work permit extension application. You will be under implied status until you hear a decision on your work permit extension application.

You should attached your LOE and relevant documents to prove you had legal status and is extending it. This will not affect your application.
