Visa Expiration Date

Hello everyone,

I have my visa valid until 1st of February, 2017. I've already been to Canada 3 times on this visa before.
I will have to change my passport though since I got married and my last name has changed, I will have 10 years validity on the passport, but will use the old visa on my ex-passport. (I asked and they said that I can still use my valid visa with my new passport)

And I'm planning to visit Canada again on this November, so I will have 2 months left until the visa expiration date.
My question is:
Do you think they would have problems with me having only 2 months validity on my visa?
I mean would they think I am not gonna go back to my country, so is there a chance that they refuse my entry?

Hi,

you can travel anytime before the expiration of the visa. The boarder agency officer will decide how long you can stay. so he can give you a date on or just before the expiration of the visa, or a date after the expiration.

But if you want to travel again after 01-Feb-2017, then you'll need to apply for a new TRV.
