Visa exempt re-entry

Hi out there.

I recently visited Canada back in October and November and i'm now planning to go again on the 12th janurary til the end of march 2011 to visit friends. The question is.. i'm from a visa excempt country but does this mean i can still re-entry the country? i got a stamp in my passport saying something til 2011 so i'm not entirely sure? or do i just get a new stamp in my passport when i arrive?

another thing is.
i got pulled into the immigration office asking for a few questions rgd. my visit in Canada.
i'm going to stay in Canada for 2,5 months so do you think they might ask me to provide a proof of fund (even though i'm staying at a friends house) ?

1. As soon as you left, your visitor status expired and you have to be admissible on your next entry.
2. Most likely, you have to prove that you can support yourself for your visit.

i have proof of funds but do you think the officers would like to see the credit card number on that sheet of paper as well?
cause i'd rather not have that on me for security reasons.

anything else you'd suggest i should bring with me? proof of some sort?

The credit card, a letter from your friend (with his/her phone number) confirming you will be staying, as much proof as you can gather.
