hi all. I have been reading around the forum and have managed to gather some information but i will like to ask again just to verify since i will be applying for my student visa by the end of the month. the questions are:
*if my total fee per year is for example, 20,000 but tuition per year is 10,000 do i have to show 30,000 or tuition plus living expenditure for one year?
* does the required amount have to be in the bank for 4 months?
* For the "proof that i have strong ties" section should i attach my parents land deeds? i live outside my home country so can i just write that my grandparents and cousins are in our country? will just mentioning that in my SOP be enough?
* if im applying for an undergraduate do i have to upload my high school transcript too?

* what do you put in the "others" section of the imm1294E?


PS. if someone could tell me a minimum amount i should show that would be great.

Hello Kevin,
Minimum requirement of funds to show is One Year tution fees+10000 CAD (11000 if going Quebec).

Funds to be maintained for certain months is not mandatory.However if showing savings account balance,it is advisable to maintain them atleast for 3 months.

Yes you can show that ur parents live in your home country and u live with ur grand parents for proving u will live Canada after studies.

Masksheets will be enough for study permit application.

There are more than one questions which can be answered as " Others ". So.please elaborate.

On the "application made outside Canada" form, there's a section where they ask for tuition fee, amount you have for your education and "others" (which I'm confused about). May I know which uni u are going to ?
