My friend from the Philippines was sponsored by her sister to be her nanny. She has undergone SPEAK test and medical when she received the letter stating that she has to go to the canadian embassy for an interview. the consul was so arrogant so to speak. she hit her below the belt. after 2 months of waiting, the decision finally arrived and she was denied, stating that the sister doesn't need a nanny after all. Is this a good ground to be denied? are the chances that they can appeal? i need your insights. thanks

I think you can appeal. You can tell them that the officer intimidated your sister and was so arrogant. My sister was denied too the first time she applied as my sister's nanny but she was able to get the visa her second try. Goodluck
