VISA DENIED!

Hi. I have applied for a temporary visa to Manitoba to attend to my sister's wedding, but my application was denied because of these reasons:

x Limited employment prospects in your country of residence
x Your current employment status

I even included a letter from my employer saying that they're ok with me going on a vacation for precisely one month and that I will continue my employment there when I get get back. I wanted to resubmit my application. What else can I do?

I have been working in my present job (a global company in the Philippines) for 13 years now. I am very satisfied with my profession and happy with my working environment, that's the main reason I never looked into moving out to another company.

Did you provide a leave approval letter...with exact dates??
Did you provide a return ticket??

What does you letter say...??

Did you provide any other proof of your ties back home? For example, property ownership, lease on an apartment, appointments, family etc...? That is the main thing you should focus on, if not, CIC will be skeptical and think that you will overstay or that you are not a legitimate visitor..
