Visa denial- Travel history and assets and financial status

Why was i denied reason being travel history and assets and financial status? I applied for myself (23) and my 6 year old daughter, i submitted a job letter,invitation letter from family friends, school letter ( doing law under university of London) bank statements with total around 6000 canadian dollars. I have been to barbados and suriname however my daughter has yet to travel but has a us visa. i received an email requesting an authorization letter from the father and i sent a letter along with the death certificate. On the form i did not out i was ever in a common law relationship but the death certificate listed me as common law wife one day after i got the refusal letter. what should i do?

Unfortunate your savings are too low to get approval to visit Canada. The fact that you are still a student and you want to take your daughter to Canada doesn't show strong enough ties to your home country. You should wait until you have more savings, a job and consider travel without your daughter.
