Dear All

I got denied a student visa to Canada about 4 months ago. But now facing Anxiety/Depression problems and doctor recommended having a treatment in canada (rTMS).

Will they give me a visitor's visa if I got denied a student one ?

Thanks in advance,

T

What were the reasons given for denying your student visa?

I very much doubt that you would be given a TRV to go to Canada for treatment. I have to assume there is treatment for depression in your home country.

There is medication treatments in my home country however this novel treatment is only available in Canada, I'm not responding well to the medications and the only solution for me is the rTMS treatment in Canada.

Do you think they might still deny me ?

Yes - they can certainly still deny you.

Any chance that one of the reasons why you were refused a study visa is because they weren't convinced you would return home? If so, this will likely be a problem again when you apply for a visit visa.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I was denied based on the ground of ties.

Do you recommend any solution ?

Thanks again

Develop stronger ties and then try applying again.
