My husband is presently employed at Infosys, having arrived in Canada on a deputation as a Technology Lead in February of last year. In August 2022, he was promoted to Digital Solution Specialist. We are currently applying for a visa extension, and one of the requirements is a reference letter from his current employer. However, the company has issued the reference letter only mentioning his current role and has declined to include his previous role as Technology Lead despite his efforts to request it. Can we proceed with the visa application using the reference letter that states his current position only? Will this be acceptable?
