visa and work permit expire..please help

Hi there..
I am a foreign worker..my visa and work permit will expire very soon..is there any way how to extend visa and work permit? or i really need to ask my employer to provide a new visa and work permit.
Please help.

What is the nature of your job? Your employer should file for a new LMO in your name before you can send in an application for your WP.
