Does they will let you know whether you will get visa or not by email or have to check in VFS service after collecting the passport.........................

Sorry to say but there may be delays in visa processing as VO's in major consulates and embassies are on strike .

I have rad on their official website that the strike is worldwide it actually started in America and Mexico than it spreads all over the place the votes were made and Globally 85% of the Vo's were in favor of strike rest you can read below in The Sunday Guardian

Negative Impact cause
!) it will delay the processing
2) Vo's will be under pressure when they return if they return to work
3) People around the world can miss their deadlines

this is really bad luck then, nothing to do, any solution after filing it............
