My situation is that I am in Canada on CWP (just reached couple of weeks back).
I received PPR for our PR application (AIP).
Since I am in Canada, I sent the webform requesting for virtual landing.
My wife is in India and we're planning to send the passport to local VO for PR visa stamping and COPR letter.
She already has open work permit, and planning on flying here next month.
My question is, if we submit wife's passport to local VO, will it be held there until the principal applicant virtual landing is processed?
I see it is taking months for people to get their virtual landing done.
I don't want my wife's passport to be held with them for that long and ruin the travel plans we already made with the open work permit.
We don't mind if she travels as a temporary resident first and then get into the virtual landing queue with me.
Pls advise.
