Virtual landing and Timeline

Hi, I received an information letter stating my PPR on October 25 from Whitehorse IRCC. I enclosed the information letter details below.

"The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform our Whitehorse IRCC office immediately via the IRCC Web Form: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp with details concerning your situation."

"If you are currently in Canada:
You are not required to submit your passport and will be landed virtually. Please advise our office via webform within 5 days of receipt of this letter if you and/or any of your dependents are in Canada. Please include each person’s name/UCI and where they are currently staying/residing (in Canada or overseas)."

Since I'm in Canada, I filled in the webform with the updated address and requested to do the virtual landing. Still now, I didn't receive any instructions for virtual landing.

My Question is:
1. Can anyone share how much time will take to send the instructions for virtual landing from their experience?
2. How much time will it take to receive PR card after virtual landing processes?

I have filled several webform, and no reply till now.

Hello, IRCC mailed my PR card last week. You can call to the IRCC toll free number. They'll update you about the application status.

yes, but how much did it take you to receive the virtual landing instructions (i.e : email with the password to log in to the portal and upload the photos)

I took 3 months for me to receive the virtual landing instruction. I received PPR on Oct 25, but I received virtual landing instruction on Jan 27.

I received PPR on 31st march , as i am in Canada now asked for virtual Landing .
I received a email from IRCC New Delhi that IRCC Canada will send you instructions for virtual Landing
then there was a lull .
I received a second PPR on 27th April , again I informed that I am in Canada .
from that time till now no response .
Is there a timeline for receiving instructions for virtual Landing ?
Please if anyone has information
Why did i get 2 PPR requests?

Hi Dear, when you landed in canada you immediately change your address location on ircc ?Or you wait till they send PPR then you advised them you are now in Canada? How long it will take when you receive PPR till when you receive COPR. thank you

i guess if its virtual landing then the next response will be from local canadian office, like Etobicoke or Kitchener

This is very strange, have you called IRCC. Our case is similar to yours, only difference is that your case is with New Delhi and ours is with London VO.
we have called IRCC and they told us that the case is still with LVO and they need to send it to local office, so we sent a webform to London Visa office as a followup. So more than a month there is no progress till date

Got the e mail from IRCC ETOBICOKE 24/07/2023
to confirm my presence in CANADA .
PR portal was created on 26/07/2023
eCOPR received on 01/08/2023
Waiting for PR card .

I have the same issue. I have got my ppr on feb 20, 2023. As i am in canada i have raised webform requesting for virtual landing on march 7th,2023.
Its been 5 months till date and i have not received any update till now.
How can i proceed further?

did you call and ask them about the status? My wife is waiting since last 3 months. PPR 10 May 2023, raised webform for virtual landing right away and no update until now.
