I will greatly appreciate if you can help me understand the Visa Start and Expiry Date rules. My mother-in-law is planning to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa.
We want to ensure that she can spend the full six months with us in Canada. However, for the processing purpose, we would like her to apply asap. Can someone please confirm how the Visa start date and expiry date will be calculated, if she gets a visa.
• Is the start date = Date of entry in Canada & Expiry Date = Date of entry + 6 months?
