Hello everyone......

I want to know that ...Does changing course and college both affects our "PR" in canada..I think its a myth....i am not able to find any one that has got PR after changing course and college..(There may be people who got).

If we talk about future now.Most of the countries are changing their rules .

This is a very important topic that everyone should be aware of because most of us do change college and course in canada...But we don't know what happens at the end...

I tried to get info on this topic ,some people told there is no issue and some told there is..I am dubious about this,my consultant told me that one can face problems in PR because they check all you history and they want a clean case..

What you guys think of this??

roubl yes its a important topic..but one can easily change there course and college...but consultants and agent just told that because they cant get commission from colleges if student change their college...
and if we talk abt pr then ...there is a different criteria for pr..they consider all things like credentials..valid permits, CEC and many other things....

Not 100% sure about it but my consultant (a really reputed and experienced one) gave me a departure kit after I received my VISA in which on one paper they have Highlighted this point. I will write in their exact words.

MOST IMPORTANT: If you have received visa under SPP Category, it is advisable NOT TO CHANGE THE COLLEGE because it will affect you in future and your Work Permit/Immigration Visa.

I am not sure how true it is though, but I would suggest against changing the college unless there is some dire need or special reason.

Yeah "RoyalSting" ...this can create problem while PR...I think this depends upon the canadian embassy only...

Yep, its totally unclear. To think Jyotis point is absolutely legit but we don't know how VOs and IOs take this into consideration.

during pr assessment the govt. checks everything......i wudnt create a problem....bcoz u have already violated[in logical sense] the promise you did earlier....I WILL RETURN TO MY COUNTRY AFTER STUDY...SO course change will not affect anything

Oh, and which course do you want to apply to? I am not sure if it will effect your application for PR negatively or not but do apply for change soon if you want to.
