Guys,

Thank you so much till now I have gained tremendous knowledge from this forum. Specifically Qurax and Rocky..thank you guys..

But here I go again. Need UEGNT help on these 12 (I know too much) questions about the forms. I know some of these questions may be very naive...but since CIO is rejecting applications on the smallest possible errors (read in this forum) I wanted to be sure. So please please please help and soon. These are my questions. Please help.

1) In 'Additional Family Information [IMM 5406]': Place of Birth should it be Delhi, India or just Delhi?
2) In 'Additional Family Information [IMM 5406]': (I Don't have any kids), should I write N/A in all the boxes or just one box in the entire table?
3) For the PR application: Family is defined as spouse, common-law partner and/or dependent children. It does not include parents, brothers, sisters. Please correct if I am worng?
4) In 'Application for Permanent Residence in Canada [IMM 0008]': Flowing from the 3rd question 'about Details of Family members', since I am not married and no kids, I should write N/A in all the boxes write from 'Family name' to 'Colour of eyes'
5) In 'Background Declaration (IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1)': Question 9, where we need to give details about myself (priniciple applicant" and family members: Two question:
1) I had applied for PR in 2008, but my NOC was not in the 38 occupation (applied between feb 2008 and nov 2008), therefore I should mention that I applied and the reason for rejection of my application?
2) My brother holds canadian PR, but since (from the 3rd question) family will not include brother, please advice on whether I should mention about him?
6) In 'Background Declaration (IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1)': Question 10: Secondary school is from VIII (8th) grade to XII (12th) grade?
7) In 'Background Declaration (IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1)': Question 11: When we are writing about our work experience, should we write in two seperate rows if in the same company we had two different designations (due to promotion)?
8) In 'Background Declaration (IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1)': Question 11: Also my department was spunoff from its parent company into a seperate entity, should write in two seperate columns to account for two seperate entities or only one row?
9) In 'Background Declaration (IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1)': Question 12, 13, 14: I don't have any membership, no government service, no military service. In this case should I write 'None' (as specified in the form) or 'N/A' as specified in the guildines. Also should I write 'None' or 'N/A' in the entire table for these questions or just one box will be fine?
10) In 'Background Declaration (IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1)': Question 15: We have to account for all the places we have lived since 18 years of age. Now if I traveled outside my home country for 2 months, say in US, and stayed in 4 different locations for 1.5 weeks each, do I need to mention each and every address?. I think the guidlines state that if u have lived in a country for more than 6 months then mention that. But the form doesn't say it.
11) In 'Fee Payment Form – Applicatio_ – Federal Skilled Worker': Last box on right hand side. Says Date: Should we mention the date on which we are sending the fomr?
12) In 'Fee Payment Form – Applicatio_ – Federal Skilled Worker': Is it safer to pay by credit card or DD. Heard some folks CC was blocked or someting and therefore application was rejected.

Thanks so much in advance. Please guys help.

1. Write the full address with street etc.
2. You need to sign a declaration if you don't have any children. You can mark the section as N/A i guess.
3. It only includes you, your partner and any children that you have.
4. Writing a single N/A in the first field makes the section invalid.
5. --
6. Depends on the country of schooling I guess. 12 years can be listed as secondary/higher secondary I guess.
7. As long as you are working the same place, there should be only one entry.
9. YES
10. Not sure on that.
11. --
12.--

only the name of the place should suffice for "place of birth". no need to mention the street address for place of birth.

1) In 'Additional Family Information [IMM 5406]': Place of Birth should it be Delhi, India or just Delhi?

City & Country.

2) In 'Additional Family Information [IMM 5406]': (I Don't have any kids), should I write N/A in all the boxes or just one box in the entire table?

Section B? One box is enough - you have to sign the declaration -

3) For the PR application: Family is defined as spouse, common-law partner and/or dependent children. It does not include parents, brothers, sisters. Please correct if I am worng?

yes but... Depends what form / section you're talking about whether or not you need to include them.

4) In 'Application for Permanent Residence in Canada [IMM 0008]': Flowing from the 3rd question 'about Details of Family members', since I am not married and no kids, I should write N/A in all the boxes write from 'Family name' to 'Colour of eyes'

I only put N/A in the Name box across the 3 columns...

Yes
2) My brother holds canadian PR, but since (from the 3rd question) family will not include brother, please advice on whether I should mention about him?

No, as it is specific to the family members who are part of your application.

6) In 'Background Declaration (IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1)': Question 10: Secondary school is from VIII (8th) grade to XII (12th) grade?

That sounds right, if 8th is when "high school" or secondary begins in your country (that will vary by country).

7) In 'Background Declaration (IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1)': Question 11: When we are writing about our work experience, should we write in two seperate rows if in the same company we had two different designations (due to promotion)?

Yes

8) In 'Background Declaration (IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1)': Question 11: Also my department was spunoff from its parent company into a seperate entity, should write in two seperate columns to account for two seperate entities or only one row?

yes, if in effect you were working for a new company. You can attach an extra sheet to explain if necesary.

N/A, one box is enough.

If you were just traveling/visiting, then no. If you did anything that could be understood as establishing residency (obtain ID, open bank account, receive mail), then you should.

11) In 'Fee Payment Form – Applicatio_ – Federal Skilled Worker': Last box on right hand side. Says Date: Should we mention the date on which we are sending the fomr?

Yes, that is fine

12) In 'Fee Payment Form – Applicatio_ – Federal Skilled Worker': Is it safer to pay by credit card or DD. Heard some folks CC was blocked or someting and therefore application was rejected.

If you pay by credit card, be sure to call the company and tell them about it so that they do not block the payment. Warn them that it may take 2-3 months for the charge to go through...

Thanks so much in advance. Please guys help.
